Lately

Phew, 5 months have flown by.  What's been going on here?

My little peanut grew into a very smily, crawling, climbing baby!

 My 2 year old grew into a fire truck driving, mascara investigating, big boy bed sleeping almost 3 year old!

 So long summer, farewell fall, and welcome winter!  If it means more of this cuteness, bring it on!

Just Because

I am loving having a family of four more than I can say.  So I'll let the pictures do the talking.

And as a Bonus, since baby S was born 10 weeks ago, no more Back pain!  I am able to do all those little things normal people do - hold my baby, wrestle J into his car seat, take out the trash, not to mention easing back into some exercise...I feel like super woman!  Thank you for being born, S Man!

Critical thinking

Problem: carrying four stuffed animals around the house can be difficult when your arms barely reach over your head.

Solution: put all of the stuffed animals into your footie pajamas to create one big toy with two convenient tethers.

I love that it was his own idea.  And that it entertained him for a good 30 minutes.  Problem solved!

Buddies

We've gotten to see a lot of my folks over the last few months, and we've found that J and his Bompa are kindred spirits.  

They both love lounging and eating popsicles...

Working on Bompa's new barn (nevermind that J's work was filling the irrigation box with rocks that had to be removed later. Oh J, your grandpa must really love you!)...
