In addition to almost doubling his birth weight, discovering his hands, and warming up his lungs, Little J had quite the social calendar during those first adorable/exhausting few weeks of life. He has discovered a great fan club:
Grandma Bailey, who came and helped the first 2 weeks post-partum and was AMAZING. We couldn't have done it without you, Mom B!
Grandpa Bailey, who drove down as soon as he could to meet Chris 2.0.
Grandma Williams, who chose to celebrate her one year re-birthday (post stem cell transplant) by coming to help during J's 3rd week of life. We couldn't have done it without you either!
My Aunt Becky and cousin Madelin
Great Grandma Williams and Aunt Beth, who was in town for Gram's 75th birthday party, which I was very proud of myself for attending, since it was less than 3 weeks after James was born and 2 hours away in Vienna. He also met Grandpa Williams, Great "Grandpa" Bernie, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins that week, but alas there was no decent photographic evidence. Somehow between naps and feedings and so forth, that just didn't happen.
Cousin Matthew, who was along for the ride in D.C.
His Florida fan club outpost, with Rocky (Great Grandpa Kaiser), Gigi (Great Grandma Kaiser), and Great Aunt Sandi. I was also very proud of myself for making this trip - all the way to Florida and back by myself with a 7 week old little guy!
Aunt Anne, home from BYU-Idaho
Aunt Lindsey, home from BYU
Great Grandma Wheeler
And of course, his animal friends...

My mom's face in that last picture is awesome.
I want more recent pictures of J! I am loving the extra chunk!
MICHAEL!!!! I'm so glad he's alive and well!
Your little man is going to be surrounded by love. Good for you taking those trips alone. :)
Love the pictures (with the exception of that lovely last one)! When you put little J's life into pictures he has been a very busy baby. Keep posting. We are loving it here!
