The Weather Outside is FUNful

With 27 hours of snow fall, by Saturday night our ugly little dead-end street was transformed into a winter wonderland!

Saturday we stayed inside most of the day, watched the snow fall, and had a romantic dinner of soup and biscuits.

Sunday morning, we ventured out in the Rachel-thigh-deep drifts. Cars were covered...

...and tragically, church and all of the accompanying early morning meetings for Chris were cancelled.

We were clearly devastated. We consoled ourselves by finally getting a good picture for a Christmas card.

Merry Christmas to all of you!

Yes, quite clearly devastated. :) I think I'd feel the same way if Bryan's early morning meetings were canceled.

I love the heart shaped biscuits. And the deep snow. I've almost forgotten what that kind of snow is like - over here church is canceled when we get an inch of snow. I think that's happened once since we moved here 28 months ago. :)

nice hat. looks fun, as long as you have no where to be. I'm glad it melted enough for you to make your trip. My fav pic is Chris at the top of the slide. I don't know why, I guess I go to the park a lot.
