May I have a word with...

So I'm trying to stop saying a few words that aren't the worst but aren't the best either:

1. Piss (I don't even like writing it, it's so un-ladylike)
2. Suck/sucks/sucky (not even a real word, I think)
3. Crap/crappy/craptacular (that last one was created by none other than G. Chris Bailey)

So, I'm hosting a contest on my blog for who can come up with the best replacement words for each of those 3. The prize will be...announced later. Contest starts now.

p.s. Still working on getting more pictures on here.
p.p.s. How do you delete comments once they've been made, especially from annoying salespeople?

I can't help you get rid of craptacular because it's a personal favorite! I'm trying to get rid of a lot of words too, so I've been asking myself what Scarlet O'Hara would say. All you need is a thesaurus and a good imagination.

How do I put your blog on mine for a link?

just says "curses!" instead. then start a nickle jar for everytime you do use the above mentioned words & hopefully you'll become a nicklair soon! (it worked in my apartment...the nicklair part, anyways...)

Beth: good suggestions, however, the last one still has "crap" in it, thus negating the idea of removing "crap" from my vocab. Don't know about the links...I'm still a little blog handicapped.

Leah: I agree, craptacular really is witty. So is sucktacular...

Nama: I like the nickle jar idea. The problem is I'd need a jar for every room of the house plus at work plus at the gym plus...maybe I need a nickle necklace.

I like saying "Jimminy Cricket..." It's fun and it always throws people off

I like, "blast" (the most satisfying) and "drat" and one I've never used but really want to cuz it cracks me up is "rubbish". My Spanish teacher had us replace "that sucks" with "that is rediculous" and it was funny. Mostly because he spoke with a British accent.
