I got home from Christmas break on New Year's Eve to discover a package waiting for me. It was small, had a printed label with the wrong address I have listed on route Y, and no return address. Curious, I opened it. Inside was a small, white box. Inside this was another box, a jewelry box. Hmmm. I opened it to discover a pair of pearl earrings. And that was it. No note. Not even any handwriting (not that I would be a counter-stalker and try to identify whose it was or something). Definitely a little freaky. I have the sneaking suspicion that they were sent by the same person who sent me the anonymous email from a "@mrjohndoe.com" address during the semester, and I have a sneaking suspicion of who that was too. And he'll probably end up "randomly" auditing my class again, or next to me in my lab again, or at my office hours EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WHOLE SEMESTER again even though I'm not even his TA anymore. But, hey, now I have some new earrings. Heck yes I'm going to wear them, they're pretty.

I heard Beth wants to wear them at her wedding? Hey, something borrowed right? Hee Hee
Note to self: As long as your buy her nice things, it's okay to stalk Rachel; she doesn't seem to mind. But it might be a good idea to ask Chris if it's okay first.
Hey, at least your stalker is good for something, mine have always just been creepy and uni-bomber-ish. They've never left gifts.
Man, I wish somebody would stalk me! Not that I'm into pearl earrings or anything, but maybe they'd leave me some tootsie rolls or something.
who's that?
Probably someone who wishes you'd write another blog.
It's hard to be so irresistable, isn't it, Rachel?
ironic, of course, that I would get a comment from someone of pseudonym "Sexy" on a blog about stalkers
