almost.

summer is almost over. i've almost been married a year. i'm a college graduate, almost. i almost made it back to work in time to actually do my work. i was almost not grumpy when i came home today from a long trip to the airport, clothes shopping (unlike some women, NOT my favorite thing. at all), walmart, and costco. i almost got a tan training for my half marathon this summer.

but i didn't almost finish the 13.1 miles. I totally smoked them. 2 hrs, 10 min down the Provo River Trail, and i didn't walk once. It was the greatest day EVER.

Chris + Rach = Weird, but fun

My sister Beth told me to get blogging, so hopefully this will suffice.

Top Ten Reasons Why I Being Married to Chris is a Fantastic Adventure
1. Watching He-Man episodes on DVD for family night activity.
2. Romantic nights spent helping him plate out bacterial cultures in the Widstoe Building, stealing smooches under the sterile hood.
3. Saturday morning kareoki in the kitchen. All-time fav's: "Don't Stop Believing" and "Rhinestone Cowboy" by...? If you know who sings it, please tell me.
4. He thinks finding the remains of a dead animal is as cool as I do. We spent half an hour digging in the dirt to put together a full skeleton. Then we figured out how it died. It was really cool.
5. Learning sign language...slowly.
6. Growing cherry tomato plants in a super-white trash but super-awesome porch garden that hangs off the side of the railing. Complete with a watering contraption made out of spaghetti sauce cans.
7. The long list of nicknames I'm acruing, including Vanilla the Hun (I stole his vanilla chapstick).
8. Bull horns over the bed.
9. Again, bull horns over the bed.
10. Watching him catch a shark when we went fishing in the Galapagos Islands, then coming dangerously close to the shark's mouth as we posed for a picture. Yikes!

Married life. Can't beat it.
